False Promises
This is the nature of sense objects: they promise pleasure to begin with andeven give you also a little taste, but then leave you with pain and suffering.
Materialistic pleasures can only provide momentary happiness. They will give you pleasure for just short period and then once again your heart will start craving for more. That craving will give birth to suffering. Because there is no end to cravings of heart. One moment it will want something the other moment it may wander off to something else. Can you as human say that after getting this object I won't ask for more. Surrender your wants to Divine and then feel the bliss. All your sufferings will disappear. If you have to crave for something ,crave for the Divine.
